The Chrisman California Islands Center is an educational research center located in the heart of Carpinteria, California. Our mission is to collect, maintain, and catalog historical items, create displays for public benefit, and promote research and publications dealing with historical aspects of the California Islands. The Chrisman California Islands Center strives to connect all people with the islands off California’s coast.
